Meet the Team

Welcome! My name is Janis Davila. I’m the Owner of Renew Path Counseling, PLLC. I’m deeply committed to providing compassionate, accessible, and culturally responsive mental health services to all individuals and families.

I have been practicing for 5 years, working with children, teens, adults, and families, and supporting individuals from 6- 60 years old. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and welcoming space where clients and families feel heard, understood, and respected.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling, both from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. My education and clinical training allow me to work effectively with individuals experiencing mental health concerns, developmental differences, and physical disabilities. I take evidence and strength based approaches, recognizing the important role families and support systems play in growth, healing, and long term success.

I work with a wide range of concerns, including but not limited to:

Anxiety, Depression, OCD, ADHD, Anger and emotional regulation, Stress and burnout, Life changes and life transitions, Self-esteem, Coping skills, Adjustment to disability, chronic conditions and more.

I believe therapy should be collaborative, individualized, and empowering. My goal is to help clients to build insight, develop practical coping skills, and strengthen resilience while navigating life’s challenges together.

I accept all major insurances and committed to reducing barriers to mental health care for individuals in our community.
